Sophie graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2015. Early on in Sophie's career, she found a passion for play and working with young children to enable long-lasting therapeutic growth.
This passion led her to complete a further four years of study, earning a Masters in Child Play Therapy at Deakin University. This knowledge has enabled her to develop a deeper understanding into children's play and provide evidence-based therapy and strategies to enable children to meet goals in all occupational areas.
Sophie believes that children need a solid foundation to unlock their full potential. In order to achieve this, Sophie conducts one-on-one intervention whilst also supporting caregivers and educators in providing unique and supportive environments for their children.
With more than eight years of clinical experience, Sophie’s patience, empathy, and strong educational foundation ensures all children in her care are given the tenderness and encouragement that they deserve.
Sophie has recently moved from Geelong to Ocean Grove. When Sophie isn’t working, you may see her at the beach with her family, drinking coffee or walking their dog!
